Events : National Tell a Story Day
Today we celebrated National Tell a Story Day. For that four of our class members volunteerly came front and started a story told by their own and also 2 of them shared their experience as a story. When they finished the session our beloved Principal ma'am came and told that she was very much disappointed that many of us hesitated to come front. Then she asked us to come front from number 100 to 1 and to share what is our hurdle which resist us to move front and after that we must tell a story. On hearing this I was little bit nervous. As my number is 92. I started preparing a story. When my turn came, I went near the podium. That time ma'am asked me what is my obstacle to come front. She asked this with a smiling face. I told her that I will get nervous when I was asked to speak infront without any preparation. Then she asked me to tell a story. Ma'am had an urgent work so she was asked to go down. She gave us 10 minutes time to prepare. Then I told a creative story about my friends. They insisted me to tell that story. I felt a bit happy that this is the first time I hold mike without any preparation and I have done it with less fear.
Today I was made a take a decision. I was not forced to do that. But we were given less time for dance practice. We felt that is better to cancel duet and solo dance performance for arts day programme. With a heavy heart we did so. I knew that I will feel for it later. But somehow I took that decision. The most unexpected thing happened the previous day was, my team had cancelled the Tableau. I had a idea for tableau. But unfortunately everything went upside down.
