Topic for discussion : Unit plan

     On 20/12/2022 we, the students of English optional were assigned to do group discussion under the topic Unit plan. Our pedagogy teacher instructor made us to split into small groups and asked us discuss about the given topic.

      Our team members are Aswini K.R., Daffeya, Monisha G., Praveena K., Sherry Joy D.J., Sini S., and Shibi Jercy S.J. Each of us had our own idea about unit plan and we focused on both the merits and demerits of unit plan. 

Merits :

☞Unit plan helps us to cover all the portions within the specific time period.

☞When we write the unit plan we will be able to give importance to memorizing part first. So that the students get more time to learn.

☞Unit plan should be made according to the mental maturity of the students.

Demerits :

☞Making unit plan is a time consuming process.

☞As the unit plan was made by the senior staff, the staff one who handles the subject will feel difficult to follow.

☞There is no freshness in unit planning if the teacher circulates the old unit plan.
